The Smart Stapling comes with a one-touch firing and opening system to minimize the force used to fire the stapler. This improves stability during the stapling process, provides a better closing of the clips and reduces the risk of damage caused by incorrect stapling. The Smart stapler is simple to use and easy to learn to operate.

The Smart stapler has a universal handle that is ready to use with the widest range of stapler reloads on the market. A chip on each magazine is scanned into the Stapler, allowing the stapler to identify which reload the stapler is loaded with.

A key feature of the Smart Stapler is intelligent tissue thickness identification. The technology enables the stapler to automatically adjust the firing rate and compression force according to different tissue thicknesses and conditions. When the stapler interacts with the tissue, an indicator light on the stapler flashes in different colors to indicate different tissue thicknesses and tissue conditions. This gives the surgeon intuitive feedback on the tissue condition, giving a better understanding of how the stapler is interacting with the tissue.

The Smart stapler is compatible with Panther reloads, which guarantees better stapling, better hemostasis and safety. Panther reloads are equipped with anti-slip structures that ensure the tissue remains in the jaws during the compression and stapling process.

The Smart Powered Stapler is compatible with Panther reloads guaranteeing better stapling delivery, better hemostasis and safety. Panther reloads jaws are equipped with anti-skid structures, securing tissue in the jaws and preventing tissue from sliding during the anastomosis. Progressive clamping technology utilizes an anvil and cartridge with non-traumatic sides for better clamping and less squeezing of tissue. The enhanced anvil allows for better compression and manipulation of tissue.

The universal handle delivers continuous non-stop articulation, 45 degrees in both directions.
The stapler handle is designed to accommodate all Panther reload lengths: 30 mm., 45 mm. and 60 mm. including all staple cartridges. The stapler can be fired up to 25 times per patient.
