iReach Omnia Stapler
Advanced Articulation for Unmatched Surgical Reach
Adaptability and control in surgical stapling.
The Ultraflex 90 sets a new standard in stapling precision with its industry-first 90° articulation. Designed to work seamlessly with Omnia, it allows surgeons to navigate confined anatomical spaces with greater ease and confidence. This increased range of motion facilitates cleaner transections and improves visibility, particularly in anatomically complex procedures.
Optimised for Lower Anterior Resection (LAR)
Ultraflex 90 performs particularly well in lower pelvic regions with limited space. Its 90-degree articulation allows surgeons to maintain a safe distance from tumor sites and delicate structures, while still achieving a clean transection. This is especially critical in LAR procedures, where preserving vital tissue and ensuring complete resection are top priorities.
Reduced Leakage Risk with Single Firing
Conventional reloads frequently require multiple firings, which can lead to overlapping staple lines and increased leakage risk. Ultraflex 90 allows for full transection in a single firing, resulting in better staple line integrity and lowering the risk of post-operative complications.
Flexible Applications Across Specialties
Ultraflex 90 is suitable for a wide range of surgical procedures, including colorectal, thoracic, and esophageal. Its flexible design improves tissue approximation while reducing tension, allowing surgical teams to create more secure and reliable staple lines across a variety of tissue types.
Advanced features
Up to 90° Articulation
With a range of speciality reloads, this enables increased manoeuvrability in confined or anatomically challenging spaces. Ideal for complex procedures such as low anterior resections and single-port thoracic surgeries, it allows better access, fewer firings, and stronger, more secure anastomoses.
Powered Open and Close Mechanism
Enhances control and consistency while reducing tissue trauma. Surgeons can choose partial or full closure for better positioning, especially in delicate or angled approaches.
Tissue-Adaptive Firing Control
Automatically adjusts cutting speed based on tissue thickness. The stapler slows during the final phase to minimise slippage and ensure uniform staple formation.
Intelligent Reload Recognition
Built-in chip detects reload type and optimises compression and firing parameters for consistent outcomes across various tissue types.
Versatile Reload Portfolio
Compatible with 30mm, 45mm, and 60mm reloads in both isometric and progressive staple heights, offering greater flexibility for different stages and tissue characteristics.
Progressive Height and Stepped Reload Design
Improves compression, fluid extraction, and staple line integrity — especially in thick tissues — promoting better perfusion and healing.
Fixed Anvil and Short Articulation Joint
Provides precision in tight anatomical spaces by improving visibility, reducing tension, and allowing easier tissue positioning.
